ACADEMIC SESSIONS
SWAN currently conducts a weekly science discussion session with participants coming from different age group. This session is for its members and interested non members. After lot of considerations, the NASA designed after school level Astronomy syllabus has been finalized to begin the main followable topic but appart from that we also follow our own curriculum topic and other science related topics to motivate all to think scientifically. Saturday Science with SWAN - 3S
A unique kind of weekly science session for peoples coming from all age group, yes all from 5 to 50 years!!
From the making of chilled ice cream to the creation of our hot Sun, from Rocket to pen in your pocket we discuss them all.
Here you are allowed to ask any type of question and you are allowed to answer any number of question may be it wrong or right, what you are thinking is matters here. We try to focused our discussion in such a way that our participants are forced to think scientifically. So come and join this two hour long discussion session on every saturday at 6pm.

We also have a digital library with a huge repertoire of books, software and interactive material for faster learning. We also preserve and digitise old documents, magazines, books, newspapers and other relevant material for their safekeeping and future use. Although, none of the material is made public without the consent of the publisher/ owner of the document. |
